We are a friendly women's dance team who perform traditional and evolved rapper sword dances, which originate from the mining regions of Northumberland and Durham. You can often find us at pubs, but we can be booked for folk festivals to local events.

Traditional Raglan Hankies & Our Stick Dances

Keeping the Morris Tradition Alive
We are a traditional men-only morris side and we dance an eclectic mix of different Cotswold traditions (and the odd Border dance as well) with sticks and hankies and pints. We keep the tradition very much alive and are available for all types of events.

The Revival of the Tradition
We aim to revive the traditional longsword and rapper heritage that flourished in the 19th and early 20th centuries. Northumbrian music accompanies the dance, which is the traditional Northumbrian style with five swords and is a slick, fast-moving dance.
