Making the best use of
Go-karts or mini quad bikes can be a big, all day attraction at your event, fete or show that will attract crowds of eager children all day long. Many go-kart circuit operators often provide purpose built inflatable circuit safety barriers which can vary from small and simple layouts, ideal for small events and even private parties to quite large circuits. When planning your event or function always include space for go-karts and mini quad bikes.
How many do I need?
Your go-kart hire operator will be able to advise you on how many go-karts will be needed depending upon the amount of children that you anticipate will attend your event or function. Another good point to consider is that certain go-karts may have age restrictions and limitations as to the type of surface that the amusement can operate on. Always tell your chosen go-kart hire company whether flat grass, gravel or hard surface is available.
Booking suggestions
Many go-kart and mini quad bike hire operators are usually available at fairly short notice for private function hire however its always best to make bookings as early as possible. Some go-kart operators may require a little bit more notice if you are holding an event during the busy season. Fees. A charge is usually made for private hire by the operator, pitch fees at events are normally negotiated between the amusement operator and organisers.
Regulations, insurance and other useful notes
Insurance. Every children's amusement ride hire operator/owner is required by law to have public liability insurance cover. Safety certificate. An annual "in service" inspection of the amusement or ride should be carried out by a registered inspection body and the operator or owner should be able to provide you with details if required.
