HOG ROAST
CATERERS - SPIT ROAST CATERING SERVICES
|
|
Introduction
Picture the scene, its a mid
august evening, you're at a local event watching the live entertainment on
stage, the beer is ice cold and the air is filled with music and the mouth
watering aroma from the spit roast. The pig is being professionally prepared,
cooked and served just behind you and all the time other event goers are
wandering back to their places carrying beautiful fresh bread rolls stuffed to
the brim with freshly cooked, succulent pork, lamb or beef with plates of
freshly prepared salad and dressings.

Making the best use of
A
professionally run spit roast service will help create a great atmosphere and
visual attraction at any event or function. Spit roast's are perfect for outdoor
events and shows from fetes to banger race meetings but they really come into
their own at themed events and private functions. A medieval style banquet,
chilly autumn bonfire night or firework display wouldn't be the same without a
hog or pig roasting away on the open spit. |
|
How many do I need?
For a
typical smaller event or function such as a wedding, corporate fun day or
village fete one hog or spit roast caterer is usually sufficient who should be
able to easily cater for all your guests or event goers. For larger events and
shows where very large numbers of people are expected to attend you may require
additional spit roast caterers but always discuss your specific needs with your
chosen hog roast caterer who will be able to advise you. |
|
Booking suggestions
Professional spit roast caterers are always in demand especially during the
wedding and event season so always make enquiries as early as possible.
Fees. For private events and functions the spit roast caterer will usually
charge by person or set fee. At outdoor events and shows, organisers may charge
a pitch fee, a fixed fee per day or may tender out hog roast catering
concessions particularly at larger national events, country shows etc. |
