COMPANY
EXHIBITORS - PRODUCT DEMONSTRATORS
|
|
Introduction
Local agricultural shows
wouldn't be the same without local tractor dealerships exhibiting the latest
piece of farming equipment and that's what event goers would expect to see at an
agricultural show. Part of putting together a good event with plenty to see and
do is to include related company exhibitors and product demonstrators that suit
the theme of your event. A car show with local car dealerships, a dog show with
pet food and accessory demonstrations or a garden show with lawn mower and
garden equipment exhibitors.

Making the best use of
At
this point its important to distinguish the difference between "company
exhibitors" and "event traders". Company exhibitors are often the national
manufacturer of a specific range of products or items with dealerships or
representatives promoting and marketing in your area. Whereas an independent
event trader may stock a variety of products from a variety of suppliers and
will be looking to sell that product range to your event goers. |
|
How many do I need?
As
with all events the amount of company exhibitors and demonstrations is
determined by the amount of space you have available. The bigger the variety of
exhibitors and demonstrations the more space will need to be provided. Larger
exhibitors such as local car dealerships may need space for their mobile
exhibition units and vehicles whereas smaller products like vegetable peeling
gadget demonstrators will require relatively little space. |
|
Booking suggestions
Locating exhibitors and demonstrators for events and shows can be a very
daunting task. Although many local dealerships and companies are often keen to
attend local community events to promote their brand and products many do not
advertise that they will. A good place to start is businesses in your local
area, car dealerships, Jacuzzi manufacturers, farming equipment suppliers etc,
etc. Fees. A pitch fee may be negotiated or charity donation. |

Regulations, insurance and other useful notes
Larger national companies are sometimes reluctant to attend smaller events with
smaller crowd sizes. This is mainly due to balancing the cost of providing
staff, equipment and transportation with the possible benefits of promoting a
particular brand or product to a relatively small audience. At Countyfetes we do
provide an opportunity for national company exhibitors to advertise but we do
recommend that event organisers of small/medium events should look at local
companies to exhibit and demonstrate products. |
