Product details - Made from a special acrylic with fluorescent pigments, these happy little frogs fluoresce brightly in the sunshine, and in low light around dusk and dawn, the edges appear to light up, using something called 'lit edge' technology which transform short wave invisible light into a long wave visible light around the edges. The frogs are also highly uv reactive so they could be used indoors in a sensory room to add glowing drama. How does it work? Made from a special fluorescent acrylic with a laser cut edge, they collect short wave light that we can't see, and transfer the light into a visible long wave light along the laser cut edge, sometimes called edge glow or lit edge technology. How do they differ? They aren't 'photoluminescent' glow in the dark, they don't need to charge, and they don't need to be in pitch black to see the effect, in fact they look best at dusk and dawn, low light, or cloudy weather.
